Personal Thoughts

One of the most joyous times in my life also occurred during one of the most difficult times. Shortly after my husband and I learned we were expecting our son, my father was diagnosed with terminal cancer and given only a few months to live. Although I was heavy hearted that my father would never meet our son, it was merciful that he did not suffer long.

My son was born several months after my father passed away. The moment I met him, I felt tremendous joy and unconditional love. From the beginning of my pregnancy, I planned to go back to work after maternity leave not wanting to lose the financial licenses and career I had worked so hard to obtain. However, after seeing my father’s life cut so short, I had an overwhelming desire to take a break from my career to spend time with our newborn son. I was so thankful for this precious gift. My son taught me the importance of kindness and patience: values I still live by today.

Once my son entered kindergarten, I finally felt it was time to get back into the workforce. RCG allowed me the perfect transition. Their dedication to work/life balance has afforded me the opportunity to work while still being able to dedicate most of my time to my family. Working at RCG has been a wonderful addition to my life. I look forward to the next chapter!
